Flovilla. A made up name meaning Village of Flowers. It was home to the Dummy, the shortest most colorful train in the US. Its only destination was to Indian Springs State Park. not even a mile away. The 1880’s Southern Gothic gem was in serious need of some love. We puchased it for 50K and proceeded to restore it to it’s glory via the 21st century. The gingerbread trim and original tin roof were intact and beautiful. The inside got a makeover without stepping on it’s original integrity. I was always struck by the efficiency of space; one stepped room to room without hallways or anything wasted. It was a cozy precious home.
